David Alan Miles, 53, of Fredrick County, VA, passed away on Thursday April 3rd, 2025.

David was born in 1971, in Norfolk VA, the son of David R. Miles and the late Edna Miles. He was a graduate of Rock Church Academy in Virginia Beach, VA. He continued his education at Tidewater Community College, earning two associates degrees, then moved on to Hampton University earning a bachelor’s degree in EMS. Being a lover of learning, he continued to Troy State obtaining a master’s degree and completing his journey at Regent University where he earned a PHD in Leadership and a Post Doctorate in Leadership.

David was a Firefighter and critical paramedic in multiple cities in Virginia and North Carolina. He was passionate about helping others, after obtaining his PHD he founded Transformative Alignment Group, with the drive to help companies better their businesses. Dave was an active member of the Winchester community, he served as a member of Winchester First Church of the Nazarene, as well as the Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, Toastmasters and The Society of Human Resource Management. He was also a member of Beta Phi.

In his personal life he enjoyed spending time with his wife Jayme Darlene Williams, who he married on October 23, 1999, and spending time with his dogs, Max, Merida and his Shadow.
He also enjoyed traveling to Chesapeake, VA to spend time with his brother, Michael “Aaron” Miles and his wife Jennifer. As well as visiting his dad in Edenton, NC.

The service for Dave will be Saturday, May 17th, 2025 @ 2:00pm.
