Daniel Lee “Danny” Redden, 64, of Frederick County, VA, died April 11, 2016 at his residence.
Danny was born in 1951, the son of the late James R. and Theda B. Redden. He was a retired residential and commercial painter, having been employed with Redden Painting and Tile. He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and making numerous trips up and down the east coast to visit family. He had lots of grandchildren that he doted on. Everyone looked forward to his signature chocolate cream pie for the holidays. He was a renowned practical joker, and loved his “stained glass blue grass.”
Daniel married Connie Sims on June 28, 1972, in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
Surviving with his wife are three sons, Nathaniel Adam Redden, and wife Nicole, of Savannah, Georgia, Jonathan Aaron Redden and wife Jessica of Winchester, Virginia, and Benjamin Robert Redden, and wife Emily, of Reston, Virginia; 8 grandchildren, Evan, William, Jack, Noelle, Lilley, Sagan, Bella and Nicholas; a sister, Freda Clarenson of Winchester, Virginia; and two brothers, James Ronnie Redden of Winchester, Virginia, and Glenn Douglas Richardson, and wife Jean, of Ocala, Florida.
Danny was preceded in death by his twelve siblings.
A Funeral Service will be conducted Thursday at 10am at Fellowship Bible Church, 3217 Middle Rd, Winchester, VA 22602 with Pastor Mark Carey officiating. Following the service all are invited to the Fellowship Hall for a Reception. Interment will be at 2pm in Rosedale Cemetery in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
