Daniel “Dan” H. Newbrough

Daniel Henry Newbrough, 70, of Winchester, Virginia died Sunday, March 11, 2012 in the Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Center

Mr. Newbrough was born in 1941 in Worthington, West Virginia, the son of the late Virgil and Stella Newbrough. He was a heating and air conditioning technician with Quarles Petroleum until his retirement in 2010. Dan was a member of the Southside Church of Christ.

Mr. Newbrough married Louise Griffin Newbrough on August 7, 1960 in Hundred, West Virginia.

Surviving with his wife is a son, Mark Newbrough and his wife, Susan, of Winchester, VA, and three grandchildren, Jody, Teresa and James.

He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with Pastor Jerrad Holloway officiating. Entombment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
