Dana L. “Bucky” Hoover
Dana Lee “Bucky” Hoover, 64, of Stephens City, VA died Monday, October 21, 2013 in the Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Hoover was born in 1949 in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Victor and Helen Hoover of Winchester. He was a graduate of Bitburg High School, Germany. He was a retired from the United States Navy, having served during the Vietnam War and attaining the rank of Chief Petty Officer, E7. He attended Winchester Church of the Nazarene.
Mr. Hoover was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Hoover.
Surviving with his parents is a brother, Richard Hoover and wife, Wi, of Fredericksburg, VA and a nephew Donnie Mercier of Winchester Virginia.
Two sisters, Patricia Ann Benner and Linda Gail Jones, preceded him in death.
All services will be private.
Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
Arrangements are being handled by Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
