Cynthia M. “Cindy” Crouse
Cynthia “Cindy” Marie Lauck Crouse, 48, of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, passed away after a 10 year battle with illness, on Thursday, April 18, 2013, in her home.
Cindy was born in 1964, in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of Marie (Rinker) Lauck and the late Charles Edward Lauck. She was a graduate of James Wood High School, Class of 1983. Cindy was a former custodian at Timber Ridge School and through the years worked at numerous places including Cacapon State Park, in the housekeeping department. She was affiliated with Relief United Methodist Church, Frederick County, Virginia. Cindy was known for her love of music, gardening, pets and horses.
Cindy married John Fisher Crouse on January 22, 1993, in Winchester, Virginia.
Surviving with her mother of Stephens City, Virginia, and her husband, are her lovely children, Christine Marie Crouse and Dean Edward Crouse, both of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia; her sister, Catherine L. Troutman and husband, Robert, of Hedgesville, West Virginia; her brother, Clark David Lauck and wife, Denise, of Winchester, Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
One beloved brother, Cary E. Lauck, preceded her in death.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, April 26, 2013, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
The family would like to thank Winchester Medical Center and Hospice for the wonderful care they took of Cindy.
