Curtis W. Wilson
Curtis Wendell Wilson, 84, of Winchester, Virginia, died Thursday, November 14, 2013, in Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Wilson was born in 1929, in Frederick County, Virginia, the son of the late Ray and Emily Wilson. He was a graduate of Stonewall High School. Mr. Wilson was a retired Installment Loan Officer with Commercial and Savings Bank. Curtis was a member of the Montague Avenue United Methodist Church, Winchester, Virginia. In his spare time he was an avid golfer and fisherman.
He was united in marriage for over 37 years to Edna White.
Surviving with his wife is his sister, Delores Brown and husband, Steven, of Paplin, Virginia and brother, Reggie Wilson of Winchester, Virginia. Two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Pastor Andy Brock officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Frederick County, Virginia.
