Curtis James “Curt” Burke, 72, of Clarke County, Virginia passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Burke was born in 1946 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of the late James and Doris Burke. He was a graduate of Granada High School in Livermore, California and a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam conflict. Mr. Burke was a custodian with San Ramon Schools in San Ramon, California. He was a hard-working man that enjoyed tending to his lawn and helping others with their lawns. Mr. Burke enjoyed playing and watching golf, fishing, going to the race track, and visiting Reno, Nevada. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Surviving is a daughter, Carrie Silva (Joe) of Colorado and a son, Jimmy Burke (Jessica) of Laythrop, California; grandchildren, Brandon, Katie and Tyler Burke; Janie, Jesse, and Joey Silva; Kyle and Kayleigh Burke; two great grandchildren; and sisters, Sharron Branch (James) of Winchester, Virginia and Susan Torres (John) of Patterson, California.
All services will be at a later date in California.
