Tami Craun Brown left a message on February 19, 2020:
I send my sympathy to Shelby, Scott, Rob, Randy, Robyn, Kate, Courtney (and all of their families): I grew up with Connie. We spent almost every day together every summer in middle school and into high school (as we went to different school systems and did not see each other during the winter). We had lots of fun at Jim Barnett Park. As we grew up, we kept in touch as we had our children and then discussed the joys of grandchildren. In the last 3 years we had reconnected on another level and it was great to receive texts from her to discuss health care and share knowledge with one another. Truly going to miss this wonderful caring woman. She was so compassionate and everyone mattered to her.

Wendy Driscoll left a message on February 17, 2020:
The first time we met Connie, we were taking my granddaughter Izabell (age 4 at the time) to see Connie as Izzy was sick and we were looking for a medical practice for the whole family. Izabell was scared of seeing a new doctor, so I suggested she sing a song to help her feel less nervous. She chose to sing "I Can't Help Falling in Love WIth You" by Elvis Presley. A head pops around the corner and a voice says "That is my favorite song! Can I give you a hug.?" As the appointment continued Connie designated herself to be "Aunt Connie". And thus became the blessing of knowing Connie. She has cared for us fiercely, she has looked after us. searched for answers, made us laugh, and been there especially for Izabell and her mommy Molly, as they dealt with Izabell's PFAPA. She shared with us her love and pride in her own children as well. To say Connie was a gift to this family would be an understatement. Our hearts are broken especially for her family, as us as well as for her office family and for those of us she took in as her own. Our prayers for her mom, children, grandchildren and her significant other are heartfelt. Thank you all for sharing her with us. The world was a better place because she was in it. We love you Connie Hodgson, and we always will!!

Connie will be missed and remembered by so many in our community that she touched with her care! Like the meticulously stitched laceration repair that she performed to my husband's knee (of course we had to discuss sewing histories as she was working on him for an hour), her passing will leave a scar that though healed over time will still tug on you from time to time. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. May you find comfort in God's love and gather strength and support from each family and friends.
