Connie Ann Orndorff, 69, of Frederick County, Virginia passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Care Facility.
Mrs. Orndorff was born in 1949 in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of the late William and Rachel Taylor. She was a graduate of James Wood High School, Class of 1968. Mrs. Orndorff worked in the Quality Control Department at Filter Media Manufacturing, from where she retired. She enjoyed time at Deep Creek Lake. Mrs. Orndorff was a member of Winchester Church of God. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister that will be missed and always loved.
She married Walter Junior Orndorff on June 30, 1973 in Winchester, Virginia.
Surviving with her husband of 45 years are sons, Rodney Cox (Kim) of Gainesboro, Virginia and Scott Orndorff (Stephanie) of Gore, Virginia; grandchildren, Kelsey Cox, Hannah Cox, Kieran Orndorff, Hayden Orndorff, Laina Orndorff, and Taylor Loudan; great granddaughter, Cora Cox; sister, Bonnie McDonald (Bob) of Winchester, Virginia; and brothers, Mike Taylor (Darla) of Clear Brook, Virginia and Kenny Taylor (Barbara) of Romney, West Virginia.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 10 am to 11 am on Monday at Winchester Church of God, 2080 N. Frederick Pike, Winchester, Virginia. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 am with Pastor Darrell Waller and Pastor Scott Orndorff officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Frederick County, Virginia.
Serving as pallbearers will be Robbie McDonald, Taylor Loudan, Kieran Orndorff, Hayden Orndorff, Andrew Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Nathaniel Taylor, and David Whittington.
