Colby Shawn Lightner, 44, of Stephenson, Virginia, died Thursday, February 14, 2013, in his home.

Mr. Lightner was born in 1968, in Alexandria, Virginia, the son of Lawrence H. Lightner, of Bristol, Tennessee and Adelaide L. Webb of Front Royal, Virginia.  He was a graduate of Warren County High School, Class of 1986.  Mr. Lightner was a bartender at Backseat Bar and Grill and leaves behind hundreds of friends, customers and colleagues who will miss and love him very much.   He loved his children, playing golf, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Baltimore Orioles and the Georgetown Hoyas, he just loved all sports.

Surviving with his father, mother and her husband, Roane Schilling Webb of Front Royal, is his brother, Christian Roane Webb of Front Royal; daughter, Jordan Lorraine Thompson and son, Canaan Connell Thompson both of Front Royal.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted to help offset the cost of funeral services.  Inquiries on donations may be sent be to intrepid122630@yahoo.com.
