Clifton “Cliff” Harry Hodge, 84 of Stephens City, VA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September, 2011. He was born in Marion, VA on April 6, 1927. He was employed for 25 years and retired from Columbia Association, Columbia, MD in 1989. He spent most of his time living in Howard County, MD. He is the son of deceased George R. Hodge and Flora E. Creager Hodge. He is also survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Reva M. Hutsler Craig Hodge and dearly loved stepdaughter, Donna K. Craig of Silver Spring, MD who he has raised since she was 6 years old. He is survived by 3 brothers: Frank Hodge (Kate) of Elkton, MD, James Hodge (Roma Jean) of Fawn Grove, PA and Roy Hodge (Sharon) of Glen Rock, PA. Also 2 sisters: Georgia Hauptman of Cockeysville, MD and Pauline Vannoy of Felton, PA. He is predeceased by 2 brothers: Robert Hodge and Edward Hodge. Also 6 sisters: Dolly Fletcher, Emma Dampman, Elizabeth Howard, Nannie Hodge, Nellie Wolfe and Hazel Baublitz. He is survived by 5 children: Michael Hodge (Valerie), Debra Harner (Russell), Larry Hodge (Terry), Roxanne Becker (Jeffery), Barbara McDonald all of MD and a deceased daughter Sharon Yowell. He has 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Omps Funeral Home at South Chapel on Friday evening from 6 – 8 pm. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 11 am at Omps Funeral Home at South Chapel. Burial will be held at Macedonia Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jack Schevlean, Louis Hutsler, James Bender, Michael W. Hodge, Mathew Hodge and Marcus Hodge.
