Christy Noel Bly Armel, 58, of Winchester, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center.

She was born December 24, 1967, in Winchester the daughter of Terry Leon Bly and the late Edna Karen Willis Cate. Chrissy worked as a production worker at Plumley Lumber and Flooring before going to work as a Customer Service Associate at JB’s Adorable Babes Tanning Salon. At one time she was also the owner/operator of Christy’s Cleaning Service and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 824 in Winchester.

In addition to her father Terry, she is also survived by her second mother Connie S. (Savage) Bly; son Samuel Weigand; grandchildren Samuel Weigand Jr., Madison Weigand and Wyatt Weigand; her sisters Sheila Marks, Tracey Shotwell and Michelle Bly; brother Eric Bly; stepbrothers Ricky Savage (Christine), Brian Savage (Karen) and Ricky McKee (Dawn); as well as many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, dear friends and her beloved baby girl her Pitbull Bella “Boo”.

In addition to her mother, Chrissy was preceded in death by her son Bradley Wayne Bly and her stepfather Nathan D. Cate.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 11am until her Funeral Service at 1pm at the Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Interment will follow at Shenandoah Memorial Park. Officiating will be Rev. Bobby Jenkins of Flint Hill Pentecostal Church.

The pallbearers will be Joe Butler, Ricky Savage, Brian Savage, Jeff Gochenour, Corey Bly and Terry Oates. Honorary pallbearers will be Samuel Weigand and Samuel Weigand, Jr.
