Christopher M. Bohan

Mr. Christopher Michael Bohan, age 40, of Stephens City, VA, died suddenly Thursday, June 21, 2012.

Mr. Bohan was born in 1971 in Fairfax, VA, the son of Michael T. and Verda J. Bohan. Chris was self employed and was a veteran, having served with the U. S. Army in Kuwait. In his spare time he was known for his passion of the great outdoors with hunting, fishing and boating. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother and friend to many who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He married Jennifer K. Mummiani on July 13, 2007 in Bristow, VA.

Surviving with his wife and parents is a daughter, Madeline Bohan, a son, Hunter Bohan, and a step-son, Jordan Mummiani; two sisters, Erin Bolden and husband, Mark of Linden, VA and Lindsey Harrington and husband, Shamus of Charles Town, WV; a brother, Donald Bohan of Willow Springs, NC; and his maternal grandparents, Julian and Edith Pearce of Willow Springs, NC, as well as several nieces and nephews; Ryan, Caitlin, Cameron, Chase, McKenna and Logan.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Francis and Anne Bohan.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 25 at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Father Stanley J. Krempa officiating. Military Honors will be afforded by V.F.W. Post 2123. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 until 3:00 PM.

Memorial contributions in Chris’s memory may be made to V.F.W. Post # 2123, 200 Sulkey Drive, Winchester, VA 22602.
