Christina Louise “Chrissie” (Jaworsky) Madigan, 52, of Berkeley County, WV passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital.

Chrissie was born in 1968 in New Castle, PA, daughter of the late Mike Gildea and Betty (Majors) Jaworsky. She was a graduate of Laurel Junior-Senior High School, New Castle, PA and continued her education at Youngstown University, earning a Bachelor’s degree. Chrissie was employed in Account Services at Navy Federal Credit Union. She was very active with the Events Development Department at Frederick County Parks and Recreation. Chrissie was the creator of Winter Wonderland Clear Brook and loved Disney. She was a member of Winchester Church of God.

She married Rodney Allen Madigan on March 21, 2014 in Winchester, VA.

Surviving with her husband is a daughter, Brooke Bukowski of Orlando, FL; sister, Judy Davison of New Bern, NC; brother, Fred Jaworsky of Macclenny, FL; and faithful canine companion, Taylor and feline companions, Dunkin, Jesse and Charlie.

A visitation will be from 12 pm to 2 pm on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Winchester Church of God, 2080 N. Frederick Pike, Winchester, VA. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2 pm with Reverend Dr. Darrell Waller officiating. Interment will be in Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery, Frederick County, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Chrissie’s memory to Winchester Church of God, 2080 North Frederick Pike, Winchester, Virginia 22603.
