Chester Wayborn Robertson

Chester Wayborn Robertson of Frederick County, Virginia, passed away, Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at his residence.

Mr. Robertson was born in Baisden, West Virginia, the son of the late Herbert and Avie Robertson. He retired with 34 years of service from the United States Government. He was a veteran, having served with the United States Army.

Mr. Robertson married Wilda Marie Grimes on August 27, 1960 in Winchester, Virginia.

Surviving with his wife of forty-nine years; are two daughters, Patricia Diane Lowe and her husband, James of Stephenson, Virginia and Rose Marie Williamson and her husband, Eddie of Wilson, North Carolina. Six brothers, preceded him in death.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with Pastor Vernon Bray officiating. Entombment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum. Military Honors provided by VFW Post 2123.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Omps Fuenral Home, South Chapel.
