Cheryl H. Bennett
Cheryl Haymaker Bennett, 53, of Winchester, VA died Saturday, May 4, 2013 in the Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Bennett was born in 1959 in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of Clyde E. Haymaker and Patricia C. Prokopovitch. She was employed as a machine operator for various print shops, and had also worked in restaurant management. She attended Agape Christian Church. Cheryl was known for the love of her family and Lord, she was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and sister, who will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Bennett married Benjamin Bennett on October 11, 2012 in Winchester, Virginia. Surviving with her parents and her husband are two sons, Jason Baker and wife, Erin, and Mike Baker, both of Winchester, VA; six grandchildren; two sisters, Lynette Carlisle and husband, Todd, of Berryville, VA and Sandra Crosen and husband, Dwayne, of Winchester, VA, and a brother, Rick Haymaker and wife, Toni of Tucumcari, New Mexico, as well as several nieces, nephew and many close friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Pastor Rick Haymaker officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
