Charlotte V. Paugh
Charlotte Virginia Campbell Paugh, 77, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Sunday, January 1, 2012 in the Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Paugh was born in 1934 in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of the late Paul Dewey Campbell, Sr. and Bessie E. Campbell. She was a quality assurance lab technician for National Fruit Corp., retiring after 30 years of service. She was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church, and was a former member of the Winchester Chapter of Women of the Moose, and the Women’s Auxiliary Eagles Aerie 824.
She married Joseph Earl Paugh, Sr., on December 19, 1952 in Hagerstown, MD. Mr. Paugh preceded her in death on May 16, 2001.
Surviving are four daughters, Sherry Carter and Jody Files, both of Frederick County, VA, and Linda Anderson and Wendy Everhart, both of West Virginia; a son, John Wesley Paugh of North Carolina; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; five sisters, Martha Light, Alice Giles, Barbara Eye, Carolyn Anderson and Sharon Thompson, all of Frederick County, VA, and two brothers, Garland Campbell of Frederick County, VA and Robert Campbell, Sr., also of Frederick County.
She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Earl Paugh, Jr., a sister, Joyce Sirbaugh, and two brothers, Paul Campbell and Benjamin Campbell.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Friday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with Reverend Paul Campbell officiating. Entombment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be Jack Cleveland, Sr., Raymond A. Carter, Donald Files, Daniel Files, Bob Jerles and Whitey Medows.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service on Friday, from 11:00 – 1:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
