I am truly sorry for your loss, although I do know Charlie had been dealing with a battle for a while and I do know he is missed now and always will be by the whole family. I myself know it just won't feel right to come to the garage and, not see him there. I also know that he always had people close to him that knows God and that being said I in my heart feel that because of that , he has gone home to be with The Lord and his loving wife as well. So I hope knowing that is comfort to the family members that are still here to carry on.

I am so sorry for your loss. Charlie will be missed. He is in a much better place and with his loved one who went on before him. We can look forward to seeing him again some day. I remember when my dad (Archie Keplinger) worked at the garage with Charlie and the good times we had. All the times he helped me when I broke down and he came to my rescue. He will be greatly missed by many. I am sending my prayers and blessing to the family and friends during this time of loss.

We are so happy and blessed to have had my Uncle Charles in our lives. We are also glad we were down there 3 years ago and had a wonderful visit. The miles between our family fades away and are love and companionship is the same as if we just saw you yesterday. Our prayers and all our love to everyone .
Sissy Drummond left a message on November 2, 2014:
Sorry for your loss; Charles was an amazing man. No matter who crossed his path; he never turned them away. When I moved to Winchester in "83" I was this shy little girl; even though he couldn't get me to talk at first he always did get me to smile. He gave me the nickname "Meanie", that will always be a nickname shared between the two of us. No matter what was going on in life, Charles always had me laughing. I'm blessed to have known Charles & I will never forget you. Charles & family have known me my entire life; they were my Nana & Granddaddy Ward best friend; I know that they're all back together again looking down watching over us shaking their heads & laughing. Charles was like a grandfather to me & I will always miss him. My heart goes out to Susan, Brad, Brian and the family. Love you Charles!
