Charles W. Triplitt
Charles Wesley Triplitt, 86, of Winchester, Virginia, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011, in his home.
Mr. Triplitt was born in 1924, in Winchester, Virginia, the son of the late Charles Irvon and Mary Ann Triplitt. He attended Charles Town High School. Mr. Triplitt was an Industrial Equipment Salesman retiring in 1991. Mr. Triplitt was a Mason and a member of the Winchester Hiram Lodge No. 21 AF&AM. He was a Veteran having served in the United States Navy during World War II.
His wife, Ruth Regina Shine Triplitt, whom he married on October 28, 1967, in Winchester, Virginia, preceded him in death in April 1993.
Surviving is his daughter, Jocelyn T. Miller and her husband, Charles J. “Jeff” Miller, of Winchester, Virginia; two grandsons, Charles J. “Chad” Miller II and Brent Wesley Miller; and his sister, Mary T. Michael, all of Winchester, Virginia.
Three sisters, E. Gaynel Reading, Nina T. Cooper, Barbara T. Kerns and one brother, I. Darrell Triplitt, preceded him in death.
All services with Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, will be private.
