Charles Victor Bayliss, Sr., 79 of Winchester, VA, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center.

Charlie was born in 1946 in Winchester, The son of the late Carl and Vergie Bayliss. He was a graduate of James Wood High School and went on to serve our country in the United States Army. Charlie retired as Owner/Operator of 50 West Auto Sales. He attended Winchester Church of God and was a member of the Winchester Eagles, Winchester Elks, and the VADA.

He is survived by his daughter, Stacie Cain and husband Larry of Winchester, son, Charles Victor Bayliss, Jr. of Winchester, Grandchildren, Cori Cain, Morgan Cain, Eric Cain, Emily Cain and Chelsea Dodson and his great-grandchildren, Savannah, and Wyatt Dodson.

In addition to his parents, Charlie is preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Rinker, Mary Mallow, Shirley Plummer and brothers, Gene Bayliss, James “Jim” Bayliss, Donald Bayliss, Robert “Bob” Bayliss and Rev. Phillip Bayliss.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 11am at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Scott Orndorff.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Charlie to Gainesboro Volunteer Fire and Rescue, 221 Gainesboro Rd., Winchester, VA 22603.

I am sorry I cannot make my friend, my friend, my friends celebration of life & welcoming him into God's arms. So many memories but if you knew Charlie everyone has an adventures with this great guy. He had the most caring heart & compassion for helping others that as a young man when I first mèet him inspires my to this day. R.I.P. my friend & when we see each other again I want a big CVB hug & it will not be some honky tonk bar. Love you brother!

Sorry for your loss.My memory of Charlie is I owned the house at 209 Poorhouse road beside the car lot. My daughter's Nikki Woods and Crystal Woods lived there with me. I think Nikki went to school with Stacie. Charlie was always good to us and anytime we need.help with anything he would help us. Charlie was a good man I'm sure he will be missed. When we would go to work and school our dog Precious would go down to the car lot and hang with Charlie till we got home. Great memories.🥰🥰
