Charlie loved his work and he was loved by all who worked with him. When we needed advice he was always a voice of calm reasoning and logic. I noticed his dedication to the civic good when he served as a poll worker at my voting location. I knew the world was a better place when I remembered that Charlie was around. Miss you, ol buddy! Lisa, Daryl, Charlie and families. I have so many happy memories of times spent with your dad aka my/our Unkie. He was the biggest toy any small child could enjoy rolling around on the floor with and that we did on many occasions. As I got older his dry wit never failed in teachable moments between he and two teenage nieces spending a summer with him and your mother. Never did I doubt his word through all the belly laughs and fun, he was so intelligent. My heart is heavy with his loss and heaven is even more replete now with its very own court jester. Smile on dear Unkie. Love Carol Ann
