Chai Tung “David” Wong
Chai Tung “David” Wong, 64, of Winchester, Virginia died Tuesday, August 31, 2010 in Winchester, Virginia.
Mr. Wong was born in 1946 in Fujian, Fuzhou, China, the son of Yuen Ching Tsang of Washington, D.C. and the late Yuen Tong Wong. Mr. Wong with his wife owned and operated Wong’s Chinese Restaurant in Winchester for 25 years from 1980-2004. He then worked for The Winchester Star and Costco in Winchester.
Mr. Wong immigrated to the United States in 1968. He married Po Yung Chan on November 25, 1973 in Hong Kong. Mr. Wong was a devoted and loving father, husband, and son who will be greatly missed by his family.
Surviving with his wife are daughters, Wing Yan “Wynne” Wong, Amy Wong and husband, Anil Rock all of Sterling, Virginia; son, Chun Wan “David” Wong of Winchester, Virginia; brothers, Ji Xuan Wang and Ji Shan Wang both of Washington, D.C.; sisters, Hua Qing Wang of Rockville, Maryland; Oi Hing Wong of McLean, Virginia; and 8 nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Frederick County, Virginia.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:00-11:00 AM at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
