Dear Bessie_ I was so sorry to hear of Cecil's passing. he was such a good ma and i learned a lot from him. i remember so well when you all moved from Harrisonburg to Stephens City, we used my old truck to help. Cecil Shiflett was a member of the Department Of Motor Vehicles Police Division, he served as an Inspector, a Investigator, Senior Investigator and Special Agent. Cecil was very conscientious in all that he did for us at DMV. He was one of those men that work a case until he knew he had turn over every stone and was sure he had not missed anything, he would then present his findings through the court system always proving his case to the satisfaction of the Commonwealth Attorney. I admired SA Shiflets work ethic as well as his friendly manner to all he met. I will always be glad to have worked with Cecil and being able to call him my friend.
