Catherine Elise Sims, 89, formerly of Middletown, passed away, Monday, February 01, 2010, at Loving Arms Assistant Living in Front Royal.

Mrs. Sims was born in 1920, in Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late William N. and Nellie J. Webster. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Her husband, Guy H. Sims, whom she married on September 21, 1939 in Warrenton, preceded her in death in 1973.

Surviving are three daughters, Betty L. Westover of Monroe, Michigan, Barbara A. Tincher of Maurertown, and Bonnie L. Sibert of Capon Bridge, West Virginia; a son, Robert W. Sims of Temple Hill, Maryland; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with David A. Owings officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
