Sandy Willis left a message on May 24, 2024:
My sweet, sweet baby girl! Where does momma begin? It has been four years and Momma still misses you more than words can describe! Logan just turned 18 and I SO wish you could have been here to see him graduate from High School!!! He is going on to Coastal Carolina to study Marine Biology and I know you would be SO proud of him! I have done my absolute best to continue to stay in contact with him, to call him almost every day, to spend as much time with him during his holiday and summer breaks as we can, and to remind him how very much you loved and adored him and how very much all of his friends and family here in VA still love and miss him very much!!! Above all, I try to remind him continually of all the sweet memories I know he still has in his heart of you, his family and home here, and, especially, in him growing up in the church, and how very much his Heavenly Father loves him!!! And, I promise, with all my heart, to continue to do so, no matter how old he, or I, gets!!! I love you, baby, now and forever, and I can’t wait for the day when we will ALL be reunited again with our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!! Until then…fly high and sing your heart out with the angels, baby!!! Never cry or be in pain again!!! Ride white horses as fast as the wind, and wear your cowgirl boots and your princess crown with the greatest of pride!!! And, hold your favorite picture of your sweet Logan close to your heart EVERY DAY as you enter the presence of our Heavenly Father…and run up and give Him a great big hug and then scream to all of creation that you KNOW God loved your baby long before we did and that you KNOW He will not take His eyes off your baby all the days of his life!!! With everything that is within me, I miss you with all of my heart! Love, Momma
