Carsie “Sue” Middleton Turner, 63, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Friday, March 18, 2011, in Blue Ridge Hospice.

Mrs. Turner was born in 1947, in Woodstock, Virginia, the daughter of Helen Maxine Middleton and the late Carson Christopher Middleton. She was a homemaker and of the Seventh Day Adventist Faith.

She married Richard Eugene Turner on February 19, 1970, in Springfield, West Virginia.

Surviving with her mother and husband, is her sister, Deborah Seal and husband, Kenny, of Chesterfield, Virginia; brother, Dwane Middleton and his wife, Mary, of Winchester, Virginia; her beloved dachshund, Stormy as well as several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, at Omps Funeral Home. Amherst Chapel with Pastor Steven Wells officiating. Interment will be in Detrick Cemetery, Fort Valley, Virginia.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
