Carolyn Marie Duggan, 65, of Cross Junction, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018, with her husband, Roger, by her side at Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Duggan was born in 1952 in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Antonio and Theresa Morello. She was a graduate of Arlington High School, Arlington, Massachusetts, Class of 1970. Mrs. Duggan was a secretary with Loudoun County Public School System, as well as a Special Education and Kindergarten Teacher’s Aide, and retired from the school system in 2003.
Mrs. Duggan married Roger Philip Duggan on February 16, 1975 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Surviving with her husband of 43 years are sons, Matthew Joseph Duggan (Lisa) of King George, Virginia and Mark Philip Duggan (Stephanie) of Alexandria, Virginia; grandchildren, Ian Patrick and Brendan Jeffrey Duggan, both of King George, Virginia; sisters, Patricia Hansen (Mark) of St. Augustine, Florida and Joanne Kelly of Lexington, Massachusetts; and brothers, Anthony Morello (Sandra) of Arlington, Massachusetts and Peter Morello (Cheryl) of Stuart, Florida.
Mrs. Duggan was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Morello and brother-in-law, Terry Kelly.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A Memorial Mass will be at 11 am on Friday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Winchester, Virginia with Reverend Michael Dobbins officiating. Interment will be private.
