Carolyn Elizabeth Frece, 79, of Manassas Park, VA passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital.

Ms. Frece was born in 1941 in Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late Elizabeth Coggins and stepdaughter of the late Elmo Coggins. She was a graduate of Fairfax High School, Class of 1958. Ms. Frece loved providing a warm, comfortable home for her children. She enjoyed watching baseball games and discussing the outcome with her children. Ms. Frece loved going to the beach, especially the Outer Banks, and birdwatching. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed making ceramic items. Her greatest passion was her family, and she created many fond memories whenever she could be with them, especially at Christmas. Ms. Frece made the holidays very special to all. She attended St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Fairfax, VA.

Surviving are daughters, Kathleen E. Frece of Manassas Park, VA and Sheila M. Livingston (Kevin) of Woodbridge, VA; sons, F. Michael Frece (Kim) of Springfield, VA and Patrick Coggins Frece (Tami) of Front Royal, VA; grandchildren, Christine Frece of Woodbridge, VA, Rebecca Frece of Lorton, VA, Stephanie Moore (Justin) of Fairfax, VA, Christopher Wolfe (Nina) of Sterling, VA, Sean Wolfe and Carolyn Frece both of Manassas Park, VA, Abigail and Hannah Livingston both of Woodbridge, VA; great grandchildren, Haley and Justin ”Junior” Moore both of Fairfax, VA and Luke Wolfe of Sterling, VA; cousins, Colleen Kennedy of Lorton, VA and Kevin Kennedy of South America; and her beloved feline, Sugar.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 am on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Pastor Alan Morrison officiating.
