Mrs. Carolyn Blanche Roberts Lewis, age 68, of Warren, Ohio, died Thursday, January 12, 2012 in Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren, OH.

Mrs. Lewis was born in 1943 in Elkins, WV, the daughter of the late Glen Dayton and Ruth Evelyn Roberts. She had worked in Quality Control at Crown Cork & Seal, retiring after twenty years of service.

She married Charles Franklin Lewis, Sr. on December 25, 1980 in Clear Brook, VA.

Surviving with her husband are four sons: Lyndol Shreve of Hedgesville, WV, Robert Shreve and Bryan Shreve, both of San Antonio, TX, and Billy Shreve of Warren, OH, a step-son, Charles Franklin Lewis, Jr. of Stephenson, VA; a daughter, Reverend Aneta Wilson of Hedgesville, WV, and two step-daughters, Theresa Payne of Clear Brook, VA and Patricia Tammy Lewis of Strasburg, VA; seventeen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, six sisters, and two brothers. One sister and one brother preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Richard Funk and Pastor Burl Charlton officiating. Entombment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.

I would always take my girls (Kendra and Kala) to Carolyn and Charlies house when they lived in Winchester and Carolyn would set them down and get them started on their ceramics which they loved to do. We would stay with them on Friday nights, you could have never asked to be treated any better!! We would stay up and talk for hours about anything and everything. I loved to set down and hear the stories about them when they were all growning up. I really became close with Carolyn over the years.. She was loved and she will be missed sadly... I love you, thought and prayers with you all..
