Carol V. Vincent
Carol V. Wolf Vincent, 77, of Winchester, Virginia, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, in Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Virginia.
Mrs. Vincent was born in 1935, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Theodore John and Elizabeth Ann Wolf. She was a graduate of Westmont Upper Yoder High School, Class of 1953. Carol was employed as a school bus driver for over 30 years, where she was awarded numerous awards and certificates for safe driving. Mrs. Vincent was a member of Woodbine Assembly of God Church, serving as Secretary of the Missionary group, and serving on the funeral committee.
She married Raymond Gibson Vincent, on December 19, 1953, in Winchester, Virginia. He preceded her in death on April 1, 2010.
Surviving are her two sons; Larry Ray Vincent of Winchester, Virginia, David Troy Vincent of Sarasota, Florida; two grandchildren; Makenzi Skye Vincent and Victoria Amelia Vincent; one sister; Elizabeth Ann Smith of Tucson, Arizona; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one son, Bruce Alan Vincent.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, at Omps Funeral Home-Amherst Chapel with Pastor Lewis Whitford and Pastor Cecil Jones officiating. Private family interment will be in Conicville Church Cemetery, Woodstock, Virginia.
