Carol C. Davis

Carol Sue Carter Davis, 67, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Tuesday, October 9, 2012, in Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Center.

Mrs. Davis was born in 1945, in Frederick County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Frank L. and Mildred F. Everts. She was a production worker with American Woodmark in Winchester retiring in 2009, after 24 years of service. Mrs. Davis was a member of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving is her daughter, Barbara Schaidt and husband, George, of Winchester, four sons, James Davis, Jr., Richard Davis, both of Winchester, Craig Davis of Augusta, West Virginia, Brian Clements of Columbia, South Carolina; eight grandchildren; Jamie, Travis, Katie, Jimmy, Bryant, Sadye, Crystal and Tyler; two sisters, Sharon Wymer and husband, Wayne, of Winchester, Linda Carter of Stephens City; and three brothers, Charles Carter, of Stephens City, Gary Everts and wife, Cathy, of Wardensville, West Virginia, and Stephen Everts of Winchester.

Her daughter, Crystal Clements, sister, Brenda Carter and brother, Billy Carter, preceded her in death.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday in Green Hill Cemetery, Stephens City with The Reverend Dr. Kitty Hahn-Campanella officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork Street, Suite 405, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
