Carol L. Ratigan, 64, of Cross Junction, Virginia, died Sunday, August 15, 2010, at home with her loving family by her side.

Carol married Edward Ratigan, Jr., on March 23, 1964, and was blessed with three wonderful children; Eddie, III, Theresa Lynn and Stacey Lea, also surviving are two grandchildren, Amanda Lee and Zachary Edward; two great granddaughters, Nakira Iyanna and Alana Nevaeh.

Carol has two living sisters in Baltimore, Mae Thornton and June Levin and many nieces and nephews. She has a sister, Betty Harris and a brother, Orville Cardwell, who preceded her in death.

Carol also wants to remember her co-workers at Wal-Mart for twelve years which she has many wonderful friends.

Services with Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions for burial expenses may be made to, Stacey Ratigan, 1262 Lakeview Drive, Cross Junction, Virginia 22625 .

I still catch myself wanting to tell people when they have misplaced something and are looking for it, " Well if it was up your $%# you'd know where it was!" I will smile evertime I remember her! She will be greatly missed!
