Carol Ann Taylor, Strasburg, VA, peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013.

Carol was born in Washington, DC in 1938, the daughter of late John and Marian Pierce. She was a graduate Notre Dame Academy in Washington, DC. Carol retired in 1997, after 31 years with the U.S. Federal Government. Carol married Jonothan W. Taylor, MSgt, USAF, on February 17, 1972 in Arlington, VA.

Carol is survived by her husband, son Steve (“Andy”), son Matt, daughter Sarah, and three grandchildren.

Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made online in Carol’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project: www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate.

A celebration of life will take place on November 16, 2013, in Bethesda, MD.
