Carol took care of me as a baby and young child. She was the embodiment of kindness and loved me like one of her own children. I always felt safe and at home with the Campbell family. Although I was young when Carol babysat me, I can still remember her laugh. She was always smiling. She left such an impression on me and I credit her with teaching me manners, despite also spoiling me a bit. Carol was an angel who treated me wonderfully and she will live on in my memories. I’m sure she is an angel now who watches over all the people whose lives she touched! My thoughts are with all those she left behind! Love from “Missy”!

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Carol. She was always so kind to me. I remember she would always call me Chrissy....even after Tara would tell her it's Christy.....she still called me Chrissy.....and I didn't mind. My heart is broken for your family. Cherish the wonderful memories you have of her. Love - Christy Canary

A very sweet lady that will be dearly missed. I remember the day she sold her home in Ranson. She was so worried about the new owner not knowing the feeding schedule for the deer, birds and squirrels in the backyard. She made sure Ed gave them proper instructions on the care and keeping of them! Love and light be with the family and friends of Carol.

Kerim and Karen (Hernandez) Gindy left a message on February 27, 2018:
Our favorite memory of Carol was when everyone would get together her laughter and how she loved wind up the group! Kerim’s favorite was when she would come out and watch the dogs run. One time Riley and Oliver ran inside the house chasing the cats, upsetting at first after the fact laughing and doing her infamous Hhmmm that started before and ended after her laughter! Carol will truly be missed and with crazy, funny memories. Many Blessings to the Campbell family
Kerim and Karen (Hernandez) Gindy left a message on February 27, 2018:
I remember how much Carol loved to laugh and dance!!! Always with a HMMMM before the laughter! Carol and Uncle Wayne would always wind the group up! I enjoyed the lengthy conversations over coffee. Kerim’s favorite memories were Going over to Ed and Carol’s watching the dogs run especially the time when Carol opened the door and Riley and all of her ran in waking them up chasing the cats! Scary at first but afterwords Carol‘s laugh was hysterical with the Mmmhhhmmm!
