Carlton Gardiner, Jr. 76 of Winchester, VA passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center.

Carlton was born in 1945 to the late Carlton Walter Gardiner, Sr. and Winifred “Winnie” Wingfield Gardiner. He worked and retired as a custodian for the Frederick County School System. Carlton was a member of the Winchester Eagles, and an antique and memorabilia collector. He enjoyed NASCAR and watching the Redskins play.

Carlton is survived by his son, Carlton “Wally” Gardiner, III (Kyle) of Winchester, VA; grandchildren, Danielle Gardiner of Charlottesville, VA and Andrew Gardiner of Winchester, VA; sister, Rosalie Neff of Stephens City, VA.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Darrell Wayne Gardiner and sister Anna Louise Luttrell.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 10am with a service at 11am at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park. Officiating will be Pastor Jonathan Bunker.
