Although it's been several years since I last saw Burt, It's still clear in my mind just how kind and good hearted he was. His obituary is correct - he never met anyone that he didn't befriend. And that laugh! It was infectious, and made everyone laugh and smile along with him.

Burt will be greatly missed. It had been awhile since I last saw him but I will always remember his wonderful smile & laugh. No matter how bad a day you might have had, as soon as you heard that laugh the day instantly turned better. My thoughts & prayers go out to his family and friends during this difficult time

I knew Burt back when I was in my teen age years. He used to come to Gore about every weekend to be with friends. He was a kind person and always a smile & a laugh to brighten your day. I lost touch with him, but I know he will be missed by everyone. My deepest sympathy to all. May God be with you at your time of sorrow Vickie Oates Conneway
