“Buggs” Paul D. Brannon

“Buggs” Paul Douglas Brannon, 58, of Cross Junction, Virginia, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012, in Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Brannon was born in 1954, in Winchester, Virginia the son of Charles O. and Dorothy E. Brannon. He was employed by Howard Shockey Construction. Mr. Brannon was a James Wood High School graduate, Class of 1974.

He married Lydia Catherine Omps on July 6, 1988, in Winchester, Virignia.

Surviving with his parents and his wife, are two daughters, Tamson Omps of Tacoma, Washington, Leora Brannon of Frederick County, Virginia; son, Randy Brannon of Frederick County; and his brother, Kenneth Brannon of Winchester.

One sister, Rose Marie Brannon Seals and one brother, Charles Stephen Brannon, preceded him in death.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Reverend Steve Wells officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Unger, West Virignia.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 1333 2nd Street, Santa Monica, California, 90401.
