Brian & Debra Miles left a message on February 1, 2023:
I am devastated in learning of Bryan's passing. I just found out today (1-31-2023), when I came across the obituary while doing a search on another subject. Bryan was the first musician I met when I moved from California to Virginia. We founded and played in several bands together and wrote enough songs to fill three albums. We had a meeting at his house in Winchester in 2008 to discuss the future of our music. The meeting ended and as it turned out, we never saw each other again even though we lived less than 25 miles apart. Bryan was an excellent drummer and songwriter. I'll always remember his sense of humor our political discussions. He was a 'News Hound." My heart goes out to Pam and the entire family. They've always been gracious to me and helped me pick up the pieces of my own life even when I didn't deserve it. I am grateful for being a part of their lives. I shall miss him deeply. God's speed Bryan! I hope to see you again someday. We have a few more songs to write together.

So sorry to hear about Brian. We played in a band together in high school and he subsequently became my step brother for a time before life and college sent us different ways. Brian was a great guy and a superb drummer. By far the most talented member of the band. Good memories. Terrible news.

My condolence’s to the family. I knew Bryan as a coworker and had only met Bryan a few times but over the years had many phone conversations. He was the most kind and considerate person and when not talking shop we would talk music. Great guy taken too soon. Sending prayers to family.
