Bruce Nelson Weart, 76 of Winchester, VA, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

Bruce was born in 1949 in Rhode Island, the son of the late Bruce Franklin and Patricia Weart. He was a high school graduate and received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland. Bruce retired as Vice President of United Contractors/Construction. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf, most especially he loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Bruce married Nancy Thomasson on November 30, 1974, in Alexandria, VA and she preceded him in death.

He is survived by his son, Kristopher Weart and Kelly of Winchester, VA; grandsons, Ricky Timbrook, and Samuel Weart; sister, Jane Pidd of San Diego, CA and his brother, Richard Weart of Fredericksburg, VA.

Services for Bruce will be private.
