Bruce Rodgers, 70, was born on April 2, 1955, in Warrenton, VA, and died peacefully at home on March 4, 2026.
Bruce graduated from Falls Church High School in 1973 and attended George Mason University. He married Bonnie Blackwell in May 1975. They lived in Falls Church, Manassas Park, Winchester, and most recently Stephens City, VA. Bruce worked for Savin Corporation (Ricoh USA) for 22 years and later retired from the Information Technology Department of Loudoun County Public Schools.
Bruce loved spending time outdoors—birdwatching, hiking, and fishing—and had a deep appreciation for history and classic muscle cars. He regularly attended Burnt Factory Church in Stephenson, VA. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Bonnie Rodgers; his children, Paige Rodgers, Mitchell Rodgers (Kristi), Kalyn Corron (Jason), and Troy Rodgers; and his nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Elizabeth Rodgers; his brothers, Larry Rodgers and Wayne Rodgers; and his daughters, Stacey Rodgers and Camryn Rodgers.
A celebration of life will be held at Burnt Factory Church in Stephenson, VA, on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 3 p.m. The family will receive visitors beginning at 2 p.m., prior to the service.
Interment will be held privately by the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations to one of Bruce’s favorite charities supporting veterans and their families, Fisher House Foundation (fisherhouse.org), would be greatly appreciated.
