Briana “Bri” Marie Bertolini, 26, of Winchester, Virginia passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at her residence.
Briana was born in 1991 in Fulda, Germany, the daughter of Colonel Mark and Barbara Bertolini. She was a graduate of Woodson High School, Class of 2009 and attended Old Dominion University where she was a sister of Alpha Phi Sorority. Bri had been employed at Adams & Garth Staffing Agency and most recently Tilton Enterprises in Human Resources and Marketing. Briana was a loving daughter, sister and friend to so many. She can forever be remembered for her one of a kind smile, sense of humor and genuine compassion for all those around her as well as being a true free spirit who accepted everyone. She had a devoted love of music, art, animals and above all her family and friends. Bri especially adored her two cats, Oliver and Tarzan. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving with her parents is a brother, Mark A. Bertolini Jr. of Alexandria, Virginia; maternal grandmother, Virginia D’Achille of Nutley, New Jersey; and paternal grandmother, Anna Bertolini of Denville, New Jersey as well as many extended family members and close friends.
Briana was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Cesare Bertolini.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with a Celebration of Life at 7:00 pm with Funeral Celebrant Joseph R. Dilleree and Funeral Celebrant Timothy L. Grum officiating. A reception will follow at Omps Reception Center, Amherst Chapel.
