Brenda J. Grimsley

Brenda Jean Davis DeHaven Grimsley, 55, of Frederick County, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 17, 2010, in Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Grimsley was born in 1955, in Cumberland, Maryland, the daughter of the late Jessie Davis and Nina B. Suddeth. She was an Aide with Frederick County Parks and Rec. in Frederick County, Virginia.

She married Lawrence Grimsley on December 24, 2005, in Winchester, Virginia.

Surviving with her husband are three daughters, Rebecca Ann DeHaven and her significant other, Kevin Sager, Misty DeHaven and her significant other, Todd Kline, and Sabrina Wiseman and her husband, T.J., all of Winchester, Virginia; four grandchildren, Britney and Hunter Kline, and Kortney and Tyler Wiseman; her sister, Linda Mills of Winchester and her faithful companion, a Malti-Pomeranian named Peanut.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Pastor William White officiating. Interment will be in Macedonia Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
