Brad L. Wagoner
Mr. Brad L. Wagoner, 48, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Sunday, November 24, 2013, at his home.
Mr. Wagoner was born in Cumberland, MD in 1964, the son of the late Carl L. Wagoner and Sandra L. Wagoner of Knoxville, TN. He was employed at Cives Steel for 26 years in Winchester, Virginia, where he was a structural steel fitter. He was a member of Burnt Factory United Methodist Church; a loyal member of the Burnt Factory United Methodist Church choir, and past president of Burnt Factory United Methodist Men. Brad was also a member of Stonewall Ruritan Club and a member and treasurer of the United Steelworkers, Local #8360. He was a graduate of Keyser High School in Keyser, West Virginia.
Brad was a loving son, brother, husband and father. He was a friend to everyone he met – never meeting a stranger. He loved being busy and could fix and do anything. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. He loved his church, the church choir, and could be found at every church function most likely helping with some part of the event. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him, but we are certain in the fact that he is resting peacefully in the arms of his Savior and Lord.
Mr. Wagoner married Cheryl L. Wagoner in Keyser, West Virginia on June 29, 1991.
He is survived by his wife and his mother and a son, Nicholas L. Wagoner of Stephens City, Virginia, brother, Craig A. Wagoner and his wife, Trish, and their daughter, Allison, of Knoxville, TN.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at Omps Funeral Home – Amherst Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at Omps Funeral Home – Amherst Chapel, with Reverend Steve Melester officiating. Burial will be private.
