Peggy and family. My heart is deeply saddened by the passing of your mom. I just found out today. It just breaks my heart that I didn’t know and didn’t get to pay my respects. My heartfelt prayers are with you all during this time. She was a beautiful person inside and out and was very good to many in my family and a wonderful, wonderful friend to my mother. We’ve been blessed to have Bonnie as our neighbor and friend. We thank God for her time with us and the fine lady she was in this world. We will miss her; but we know that because of what God did at the cross, we will see her again and she will be shining in glory! Bonnie never met a creature she didn’t love--dogs, cats, birds, deer, chipmunks, etc. She would always greet us with such a warm smile that would make you feel good. Bonnie was a hard worker, but would be glad to sit and talk for hours and walk in the garden and talk about plants. She fed the birds daily and enjoyed the beauty of God’s creation. We pray God will comfort her family and friends.

I remember such fun times at Aunt Bonnies home on the orchard. I could tell you the whole lay out of the house even after all these years. I could draw a map of where and what each room was, where the kitchen table sat and tell you the records she listened to. I remember her goldfish pond, her home made french fries and being allowed to jump on her bed to my hearts content. I remember her and my mom talking and laughing and Uncle Buddy sitting at the table, quiet, with this little smile in the corner of his mouth with his pipe. He never said a whole lot but always seemed to have a smile. I guess the point I'm trying to get to is I do remember them and while my loss is only a fraction of yours Peggy and your family I will always remember with love your mom and dad. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Truly a light in a dark world! I am so blessed to have married into this family and shared so many of Grandma's hugs and warm laughter over the years. From her priceless wisdom to stories from the past, she always had a welcoming home to gather to. It's true God only lends us Angels, and he sure did gain one of the strongest women I've ever known to join his army in Heaven. Her presence will be missed more than words can express, but she will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
