SYMPATHY left a message on October 12, 2016:
My first memory of Billy was at the age of 6, he was 16. During the war, my mother Ruth and I went to live with my grandparents, we were a close and loving family, and I looked up to Billy, even then, he was popular in high school, playing great basketball, we went to all his games. Through the years, he has visited us, sent us so many beautiful wooden artifacts that he made, his wonderful sense of humor, and outlook on life was endearing, he was the Uncle everyone should have. He lived a wonderful life, was a great husband and father. My sympathy to Aunt Barbara and my cousins, Sharon, Shannon, Susan, and Leslie. He will live in our hearts and thoughts always, he left a great legacy, we will miss him always, sending love to all of you from us, Glen and Bobbie
