Beverley Jenkins Clark of Winchester died, January 24, 2024, at INOVA Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia. Beverley was born on November 25, 1945, the daughter of Robert and Mary Jenkins in Winchester, Virginia.
Bev married Thomas Clark, Jr. on December 17, 1967, in Winchester, Virginia and they spent 52 years together making many memories traveling in the U.S. as well as going on many cruises and numerous trips to Mexico with family and friends.
After graduation from James Wood High School in 1964, Bev went into the work study program at Winchester Memorial Hospital in the laboratory. She continued to work in the medical laboratory profession until her retirement in 2010.
Bev was an active life-long member of First Christian Church in Winchester. Her interests were reading, traveling and all forms of crafting.
Surviving are Bev and Tom’s son, Rob Clark; daughter in law, Kristie Clark; grandsons, Cody (fiancée, Kylee Bleth) and Zane Clark, all of Winchester; step-grandchildren, Ashlynn Johnson, Teagan and Bodhi Jones of Stephens City, VA; sister, Pat and her husband, Larry of Frederick County, VA and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Glenn Parker of Stephens City, VA.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, her parents, Robert and Mary Jenkins, grandmother, Eva Rogers and aunt and uncle, Reggie and Evelyn Wilson.
A visitation will be held for Bev on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 9:30am with a service to follow at 11am, all held at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, 1260 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park. Officiating will be Pastor Mike Moulden.
