Betty O. Stultz
Betty Ann Owens Stultz, 81, of Stephenson, Virginia, passed away with her family by her side on Friday, December 20, 2013, in Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Stultz was born in 1932, in Stephenson, Virginia, the daughter of the late Russell and Lillian Owens. She was the owner and operator of “Betty’s Sew Shop”, a business she ran from her home, retiring in 2007. Mrs. Stultz was a graduate of Stonewall High School in Clear Brook, Virginia, and a member of Round Hill United Methodist Church. She was a volunteer with the James Wood Band Booster as the official “Seamstress for the Band” from 1999-2007. Mrs. Stultz loved sewing and to be with her family.
She married Glenn Allen Stultz on May 8, 1949, in Hagerstown, Maryland, celebrating 64 years of marriage this year.
Surviving with her husband are three daughters, Robin Lovett and husband, LeRoy, of Winchester, Gayle Grove and husband, Jackie Jr., of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, April King and husband, Glenn, of Greencastle, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Brooke Luttrell and husband, Dustin, of Stephenson, Christy Lovett of Winchester, Jacquelyn Grove of Harpers Ferry, LeRoy Lovett and Roger Lovett, both of Winchester; three great grandchildren, Kyle Hoover, Patrick Hoover and MaKayla Hoover, all of Winchester.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 2:00-4:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, located at 1260 Front Royal Pike.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 PM on Monday, at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. Entombment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum, Frederick County, Virginia.
