Betty Lou Hatfield, 82 of Winchester, Virginia, died on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Hatfield was born in Wilmington, Delaware, daughter of the late Lewis M. and Betty Jane Hagerty.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Hatfield.

Surviving are her daughters, DeAnne Speacht (Charles) of Leesburg, Virginia, Beth Wilson (David) of Longwood, Florida; grandchildren, Charles “Chase” Speacht, V of Leesburg, Virginia, Rylee Speacht of Leesburg, Virginia, Ava Wilson of Longwood, Florida and Ella Wilson of Longwood, Florida; brother, Lewis M. Hagerty, Jr. (Sue) of Wilmington, Delaware, and her sister, Lynn Craig (Melvin) of Middletown, Delaware.
