Betty Lee Foulk
Betty Lee M. (Wilhelm) Oswald Foulk, 88, of Winchester, Virginia, died Monday, January 25, 2016 at Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Care Center surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Foulk was born in 1927, in Easton, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Frank and Bella Wilhelm. She was a graduate of Easton Area High School, Class of 1945. Mrs. Foulk was a retired telephone operator and receptionist with Pennsylvania Bell Telephone Company and Pfizer, Inc., retiring after 40 combined years of service.
Mrs. Foulk was a member of Opequon Presbyterian Church in Winchester, Virginia. She was a member of the Eastern Star (Delaware Chapter #50 in New Jersey).
She was Past President of Carteret County Newcomers Club, the Women’s Club, and the Fire Auxiliary in Pine Knoll Shores, NC. Mrs. Foulk was a volunteer at Martha’s Mission and St. Andrews Thrift Shop, a docent at Blue Beard’s House in Beaufort, NC and at Glenn Burnie Museum in Winchester, VA. She was active in many clubs and committees at The Village at Orchard Ridge where she resided.
She loved to sing. She also enjoyed traveling, crafts, games, dancing, entertaining and time spent with family and friends. Her greatest joys in life were her daughters and family.
She married Morgan “Duke” Foulk on April 25, 1975 in Easton, PA. He preceded her in death on May 16, 2015.
Her first husband, Frank Oswald, preceded her in death in 1972.
Surviving are her daughters, Donna Krivoski and husband, James of Easton, PA, Tracy Drumheller and husband, Jack of Clear Brook, VA; step-sons Terry Foulk and wife, Nancy of Easton, PA, Brian Foulk and wife, Robin of Nazareth, PA; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 12:30 – 1:30 PM at The Village at Orchard Ridge Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM at The Village at Orchard Ridge Chapel with Pastor David Witt officiating. A reception will follow the service at The Village at Orchard Ridge.
