Betty Jo Boggs, 83, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 in Winchester Medical Center.
Betty Jo was born in 1934, in Burdine, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Bart Belcher and Betty Belcher. Mrs. Boggs was a seamstress and supervisor with Blue Bell in Luray, Virginia.
Her husband, James K. Boggs, whom she married on September 2, 1952 in Pound, Virginia preceded her in death on November 19, 2009.
Betty Jo is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Boggs and Ada Cubbage; grandchildren, Kimberly Smith, Ryan Cubbage and Kari Nichols; great-grandchildren, Kayla Stottlemeyer, Morgan Smith, Erin Smith, Destiny Cubbage, Cova Cubbage and Cavella Cubbage. She is also survived by a loving sister and brothers-in-law, along with her many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Boggs was preceded in death by her brothers, Alvin C. Belcher, William R. Belcher, A. Oulsley Belcher, Bart Belcher, Jr. and James “Teddy” Belcher.
Services at a later date in Pound, Virginia. Arrangements are being handled by Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
